Built for dental assisting and dental hygiene programs that teach panoramic imaging, this system gives students a life-sized adult patient to position in a real panoramic unit before they work with live patients.

Included in the system:

• XR5 Adult X-Ray Model: anatomically shaped teeth permanently fixed with full pulps and canals, made of radiolucent material with special opaque qualities so internal tooth structures show on the image
• FRP Head (Adult)
• Rubber Mask (Adult) for realistic soft tissue
• Hard plastic case for storing the X-ray model
• Porta-Sim-E stand: a tripod mount with an extended post that raises the manikin to the height needed for a panoramic X-ray unit

The XR5 model is also suited to periapical positioning practice.

For intraoral radiography training, see also the XR Artificial Radiographic Training System. For younger patients, see the XR4 Pediatric Radiology Manikin.
