Description
For hand surgery and orthopaedic training programmes, this wrist arthroscopy model gives trainees a realistic joint space to explore through standard dorsal portals. It was developed according to PD Dr. med. H. Hempfling of Murnau.
The model is a plastic hand in which the carpal bones, radius and ulna, carpal disc and intra-articular ligaments are all visible. Two access points on the extensor side, one radiodorsal and one ulnodorsal, open into the joint cavity for arthroscope practice.
Features
- Carpal bones, radius and ulna
- Carpal disc that attaches to the ulna and can be exchanged
- Carpal ligaments on both the flexor and extensor sides, replaceable as they wear
- Radiodorsal and ulnodorsal arthroscopy portals
