User guide for 700 Series typodont models
One typodont, three configurations. What each one includes, which to choose, and where to find the setup steps for yours.
The 700 Series typodont (D95SDP-700 GUB) is the model used for the NDECC. It is the same typodont in every configuration. What changes is the hardware that comes with it, which depends on whether you practise on the bench or mount the typodont in a DARWIN manikin head.
New to typodonts?
A typodont is a practice model of the upper and lower dental arches with removable teeth. Each tooth screws into place, so you can prepare, restore and replace teeth one at a time. The pink urethane gums (gingiva) behave like soft tissue, and the hinge articulator holds the two arches together so the jaw opens and closes.
Which configuration do you need?
Start with where you will be practising.

The three configurations

The typodont on its own. Use it on the bench, or as a replacement if you already have an oral cavity cover and magnetic plates from a previous typodont.
