This moulage shows a colostomy, the most common type of stoma. The terminal colostomy is usually found in the middle of the body or on the left side of the body and shows the colon sutured above skin level. The stoma is located in a fold in the abdomen. Thanks to the use of a special plastic mixture, all standard stoma bags adhere to the moulage. The model is suitable for determining the size using a stoma template, for cleaning the skin with water, and for attaching the base plate and the stoma bag.
