Handcrafted in Somso's proprietary material by Coburg artisans over 140 years, this five-times enlarged eight-part eyeball — resting in the lower orbital bones and sectioned horizontally — separates into sclerotic membrane, choroid membrane, retina with vitreous humour, and lens, providing ophthalmology educators and anatomy programs with an expanded reference for teaching the layered structure of the eye in its orbital setting.
Enlarged approximately 5 times, in SOMSO-PLAST®. Resting in the lower bones of the orbit and sectioned horizontally. Separates into 8 parts: sclerotic membrane (2 parts), choroid membrane (2 parts), retina with vitreous humour, lens, bone of the orbit, with lacrimal organs and eyelids. On a green base.
