Description
Built for dental assisting programs, this typodont puts sealant placement, caries recognition and caries detector calibration on a single model, so students can practise core chairside procedures without swapping arches.
The D95SDP-X1234 starts with a standard Nissin D95 (200-series) model with soft urethane gingivae, then adds a set of specialized teeth for dental assisting education and patient simulation.
Included teeth (Universal numbering, FDI in brackets):
- Sealant teeth: #3 (16), #8 (11), #13 (25), #19 (36) and #28 (44)
- Caries teeth: #5 (14) MO, #10 (22) D / Class II, #21 (34) Class V B/F, and #30 (46) M/O/D/B/L
- Composite tooth: #9 (21), for calibrating a caries detection unit
- Standard melamine dentition: all remaining teeth
All teeth are screw-retained for easy replacement. These are standard straight root teeth and do not feature anatomical roots.
Recommended add-ons: an Oral Cavity Cover to simulate the lips and cheeks, and a screw-in tongue for mirror placement and tissue retraction practice.
